I have purchased this tire (and its predecessor, the WR) for a decade. When I drive in the snow, even in the mountains in winter, my car feels like it's glued to the road. Best traction I've ever experienced. Can get through 3' of snow (though probably not recommended!) on mountain roads. Have been able to go up mountain roads for work where other vehicles have been forced to turn around. Excellent buy for winter and all-season driving. Would not recommend, however, if you are driving a lot without snow, as it will wear faster than your average touring tire. (view review details)
